Museum Pass Exclusive Offer:
Night Odyssey in Space Museum
In this evening of closing day, the Hong Kong Space Museum will be exclusively open for Museum Pass holders, and you can visit the exhibition halls at your own pace. In addition, the Space Theatre will feature two special programmes In Search of Cosmic Life and Decoding Starlight which are produced by the Hong Kong Space Museum. The shows are free of charge and for members only.
Dome Show In Search of Cosmic Life
Show schedule: 7 pm
Show duration: About 30 minutes
Synopsis: What is your take on cosmic life? Yea or nay? In this show, audiences will appreciate the uniqueness of the Earth for life to flourish, and will examine those celestial bodies which scientists have found liquid water or organic compounds. Besides, space missions such as Stardust, Kepler and OSIRIS-REX will also be introduced.

Show duration: About 30 minutes
Synopsis: Thanks to more powerful telescopes and advancements in physics, humanity has a better grasp of the distances of stars and the meaning of stellar spectra. It turns out that a spectrum contains important information of a star, such as its mass, surface temperature and chemical composition. What more can the starlight reveal to us the mysteries of the universe? Decoding Starlight leads the audience following astronomers' footsteps to unlock the secrets of the stars.
