On 20 July 1969, following the successful Moon landing of the Apollo 11 mission administered by NASA, astronaut Neil Armstrong became the first human ever to set foot on the Moon. His words on the Moon "That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind." conclude this significant achievement in the space exploration.
The year, we commemorate the 50th anniversary of Moon landing. The Hong Kong Space Museum stages this special exhibition to introduce the rocket, spacecraft, spacesuit and lunar exploration flight path of the mission. The Museum also collaborates with LEGO Hong Kong Limited to showcase a model of the Saturn V rocket built by LEGO bricks. This exhibition features stunning images, footages, models and interactive exhibits to introduce the lunar exploration and lunar science.

Saturn V Rocket：Showcase a five-metre-high Saturn V rocket 1:22 model built from LEGO bricks.

Spacesuit of Apollo 11：Display the real-size model of spacesuit of Apollo 11.
Landing Footprint：Display the footprint left by Buzz Aldrin, the second person to walk on the Moon, at the Museum in 2009.
Lunar Exploration Flight Path of Apollo 11：Introduce the Apollo 11 mission from the spacecraft departure from the Earth, landing on the Moon and returning to the Earth.

Future Lunar Base：Showcase the future lunar base models built by LEGO bricks.
Moon Basic Facts：Introduce the basic facts of the Moon, supplemented with a lunar model in which the relief follows the actual scale.
Take a Look at a Lunar Meteorite：Display a piece of lunar meteorite for visitors to examine lunar geographical properties under a microscope.
Touching Lunar Surface Features：Display 3D printed models of lunar craters and other surface features made according to the data collected from a lunar orbiting satellite. Even visually impaired visitors can feel the terrains.
