Hang on tight as “The Great Schiaparelli” in the 3D Dome Show The Great Solar System Adventure! 3D blasts you through the cosmos in his magical orrery! During the voyage, you will dodge Mercury’s extreme day-night temperature swings, escape Venus’s deadly high-pressure atmosphere, and make a thrilling landing on Mars’s rugged surface. Next, you will experience Jupiter’s lightning storms, travel through Saturn’s magnificent rings, visit the sideways-spinning Uranus, and confront the raging winds of Neptune.

The Great Schiaparelli uses his witty and vivid commentary to reveal the mysteries of each planet and Sun’s incredible power. Can this bold yet careful tour leader bring everyone safely home through all the dangers ahead?

Ancient people looked up at the night sky, connecting stars into patterns and giving them stories. They also noticed some dots of light moved and later discovered these were planets within our Solar System, not distant stars.

Mercury experiences the most extreme temperature differences between day and night in the Solar System. In shadowed regions, temperatures are frigid enough to preserve water ice in craters, but any exposure to sunlight causes it to vaporise instantly.

Mars’ thin atmosphere cannot effectively slow down a lander’s high-speed descent, making the landing process extremely challenging. The Great Schiaparelli must rely on his wisdom and experience to ensure everyone lands safely on the red planet.

Jupiter is the largest planet in the Solar System, making all other planets appear tiny by comparison. Jupiter’s most eye-catching feature is the Great Red Spot, a gigantic storm larger than Earth’s diameter that has been raging for over 400 years.

Saturn has the greatest number of moons in the Solar System, with spectacular rings composed of countless ice chunks and dust particles. The Great Schiaparelli leads us through these magnificent rings to explore this mysterious and beautiful place.

Neptune is extremely far from the Sun and takes about 165 years to complete a single orbit. It has some of the fastest winds in the Solar System, reaching speeds of up to 2,000 kilometres per hour.
