| Tiangong-2 | 15.9.2016 | The Tiangong-2 Space Laboratory was composed of an experiment module and a resource module. It completed four rendezvous and dockings with Shenzhou-11 and Tianzhou-1 spacecraft, supported the stay of two astronauts for 30 days, and facilitated over 60 space science experiments. The space laboratory was controlled to fall into designated areas of the ocean on 19.7.2019, marking the completion of the “second step” in the “three-step strategy” of the China Manned Space Program. |
| Tiangong-1 | 29.9.2011 | The Tiangong-1 Space Laboratory was China's first manned space laboratory, composed of an experiment module and a resource module. It completed six rendezvous and dockings with Shenzhou-8, Shenzhou-9 and Shenzhou-10 spacecraft, supported the stay of astronauts conducting space science experiments, and served as the venue for China's first “space lecture”. The space laboratory ceased operations on 16.3.2016 and burned up during reentry into the atmosphere. |
